"Watson!" Sherlock's voice barks through the earpiece. "It's the waiter!"

Joan shoves back from the table and leaps to her feet. "Ted!"

Then everything happens in a rush. A dozen officers storm the hall. Half grab the waiter. The other half grab Rupert.

"What is the meaning of this?" Rupert demands.

"You're under arrest for attempted murder," one of the officers says.

Sherlock comes running over.

"How much did you eat?" he demands of Ted without preamble.
