Ted returns and smiles. "I was thinking, if you want to take a shower, we could grab a stool you could sit on and we can shower together," he suggests. "Not necessarily now, we can eat breakfast and stuff first, but later if you want."
He knows she hasn't actually showered since before the gala, and can't imagine she feels great.
