She loves how he's including her, even as he's playing. She's known plenty of people who would get wrapped up in the game and not even pay attention to anyone around them, but that's not Ted. Of course it's not. Ted is as always open and welcoming and seems to want more than anything to share the experience.

As he looks into setting it up to play against each other, Joan looks at the controller and tries to figure out how it works. "I'm going to really suck at this," she says. "I have no idea how this even works." She leaves unspoken her concern about being physically capable.
