The weeks have been difficult, at times devastating, and Joan has sometimes been terrified, for him and for herself. And yet through all the horrors she has never stopped loving Ted with every ounce of her being. And she has absolute faith that through it all he has never stopped loving her, either.
She sighs happily and leans forward, closing her eyes, resting her head against his, basking along with him.
