Still touching her, he leans over to kiss her neck for a moment, just enough to make his intention clear, before he straightens up. He sets the shower head back and turns off the shower, preserving the rest of the hot water. It's so hot and damp in here by now, even without the shower on, that he at least doesn't feel chilly. And if she does, well, he's happy to give her some body heat.
"Hold on.." he says, and he reaches down to carefully scooch the step ladder over a bit, with her still sitting on it. So that he can step behind her again.
