A moment ago, Ted was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen.

She watches him come, her eyes locked on his for as long as possible, and it is incredible. When he slumps against her she wraps her arms around him and holds him close, one hand going to the back of his head, fingers sliding into his hair. She closes her eyes and just rests, her body so warm, her heart so full, breathing along with the man in her arms, the man she loves.
