Could just be that Ted spends a lot of time with shirtless young athletic men in their 20s. Probably skews his perspective a little bit. So the compliment on his attractiveness makes him smile shyly and blush a little bit. (Then again, it probably blends in with the rest of his flush.) But he knows she means it, and that makes him feel like he is too.

He doesn't know what to say to that though, but that's okay, because he just kisses her instead. There's only so many words you need.

He tugs gently at the hem of her shirt to pull it over her head, maybe try to equalize the amount of undress a little bit. It's not the first time this thought has occurred to him, but he would very much like to see her without clothes.

She helps him pull off her shirt, setting it aside, then reaches behind her back to unhook her bra. She knows that men often like to try to unhook a woman's bra, but in her experience it always winds up being awkward and frustrating, so she decides to just move past it, sliding the bra off. She's now just as undressed as he is, and she takes a moment to focus on kissing him, her chest softly pressed to his.

Honestly, for Ted, it's even more enjoyable to watch her take it off herself. Just some kind of difference in mindset. He's not here to conquer her or anything along those lines. Seeing her take it off, like she wants him to see her, to be close to him without anything in between them, that's much better.

Ted's mostly been letting her take the lead, not wanting to rush things nor to push her, but she definitely wants this just as much as he does, and he's starting to get more confident and, well, enthusiastic.

As soon as his pants are opened, he pushes them to the floor and steps out of them, then wraps an arms around her back and climbs into bed, pulling her along with him. He returns to kissing her neck, though this time he's running his hands over her body, wanting to feel all of her, and more importantly, make her feel good.

Then it's too much, and she pushes him away, panting, her body trembling.

Ted sits up when she pushes him away, smiling happily, watching her for just a moment, before returning to gently kissing at her upper body. He shifts up to lie next to her, softly running his hands across her skin as she regains her breath, just gentle affectionate touches.

His gentleness and affection are so him, attentive even after the point when many men would consider their job done. And god she loves him for it.

Once she's regained enough of her breath and senses, she rolls toward him, cups his cheek, and kisses him.

"That was amazing," she breathes against his lips. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," he answers quietly, smiling and looking at her with such admiration. Happy to have made her feel so good, and to get to see her like this.

He's not even that aroused anymore, fulfilled by watching her and content to just lie here, skin against skin, until she has to go, if that's what she wants.

After a minute she lifts her face and kisses him, gentle and slow, then pulls back to meet his eyes.

"How can I return the favor?" she asks with a smile.

"You don't have to," he answers, in case she's mostly saying it out of a sense of responsibility. (Although he hopes she knows him well enough to know that he wouldn't actually feel cheated or anything like that if she didn't.)

"I mean, getting to do that was pretty amazing for me too," he adds with a smile. It's not even a justification, it's just true.
